Jon-Carlo Canezo

Jon-Carlo has been the head coach at St. John's School and a consultant for the Houston Urban Debate League for the past 3 years, privately coaching for the past 10 years, and did LD Debate back in the stone age. In those past three years, he's coached NSDA National Winners and qualified numerous students to the TOC. This is his first year teaching camps and he's looking forward to it!

Yajaira Flores

Hello, I am an incoming freshman at Rhodes College and a recent graduate from Irma Rangel YWLS. I debated for all four years of my high school career in the World Schools division while dabbling in policy and extemp debate. I competed in the Dallas Urban Debate Alliance (DUDA), Texas Forensic Association and NSDA National circuit. Additionally, I am involved in volunteering at DUDA through judging, teaching workshops and summer camps. As this is my first year at TDC, I am very excited to share my knowledge and learn from everyone else at camp!

Andy Stubbs

Andy Stubbs works as a content specialist for the Houston Urban Debate League, writing curriculum and doing site visits for policy and Worlds. He also works as a Worlds and PF consultant around Houston and in the past has volunteered at the Harris County branch of the Rikers Debate Project, an organization dedicated to teaching debate to students incarcerated in Harris County Jail.

Guadalupe Vazquez

I’m an incoming freshman at the University of Texas at Austin, where I will be studying Government. I have competed for three years at Irma Rangel YWLS in World Schools Debate and attended tournaments through the Dallas Urban Debate Alliance (DUDA), Texas Forensic Association State, and NSDA National Circuit. Last year, I attended TDC as a student in the World Schools Institute, but I’m excited to come back and have the opportunity to teach this time around!
